Individuals who are living with dementia may require a secure setting but can roam freely but not able to access the outside world of risks without a staff or family member with them.
Hatchmoor has a dementia floor which can accommodate specific needs of dementia care. There are wide corridors, rooms all have ensuite wet rooms and there is access to secure outdoor gardens for when residents wish to go outside. We have a well organised social care team who work closely with family and friends to ensure all residents have an activity package that is tailored to their current needs but taking past hobbies into account.
